Buddy Guy and Jonny Lang
Amber Autry opened for Jonny Lang at Meadowbrook and he was ok at best. Way too many long breaks in the middle of songs where he was just singing, and the band wasn't doing anything except a drum and bass beat. He needs to focus on playing blues, which is what he excels at. Jonny Lang, on the other hand, was great. Still has a ton of energy at 74, can still play and sings like the master that he is. Tells stories in between and really appreciates his audiences. He had a 12-year-old kid playing with him named Quinn Sullivan, who was amazing, especially for his age. I thought Jonny Lang gave him too much time, however, and should have played more himself, especially at the end.
